"Sir, if you wish to have a just notion of the magnitude of this city, you must not be satisfied with seeing its great streets and squares, but must survey its innumerable little lanes and courts"
Dr Samuel Johnson (18th Century)
At Trails of the City we take the great man at his word. Our trails explore the maze of lanes and courts that lies just off Westminster's main streets - full of eccentric taverns, ancient graveyards, forgotten sculptures and much more besides.
The best and greenest way to see London is on foot: cooped up in a tour bus, you won't see the hidden corners our qualified guides can show you. Walks last up to 1.5 hours, and more often than not finish at a characterful pub. Click here to see your guides in action and some of our testimonials!
|Please note that walk prices may occasionally vary from standard rates when we run walks in association with other organisations.|

We also offer our walks as illustrated talks. Click here for further details.
